Tell us about yourself?

-> I like to learn new things. I am a fun loving person and also very Practical at times. I am from commerce background doing bachelors in accounting and finance. I Love my field and wish to do a great career out of it. As you know that Finance is the heart of any organization, a finance student would never be jobless. That’s what I think and so I have chosen this field.

How does it feel to be the Class Representative of the class?

-> It feels really good and it was always my dream to become the CR because I like taking initiative and coming forward and leading group of people. I am a very interactive person and so I always try to keep good touch and contact with my classmates in order to help them out as and when they need me. I have been CR for 7 months since the college started.

What do you mean by leadership? Tell us about a time / describe a situation when you have proved you have better leadership skills.

-> Leadership is not being a dominating person over your subordinates but being a diplomatic and practical person who can prove his point to other and make them follow him by their wish and not by any coercion. In short coordinating and balancing the relation and conflicts of people in group with intelligence.

What are the most important values you demonstrate as a leader?

-> ‘ Practice what you preach’ this should be the attitude of a leader. He should first himself follow the things which he wants others to follow. Being equal with the people with whom you work and try and understand them. Always a leader should see to it that he should not misuse his rights or power and also not allow others to do so.

Does a leader need to be motivated? How can leaders maintain themselves to stay motivated?

->. Yeah of course. A leader always needs to be motivated. He can motivate himself buy seeing the good performs of his mates and try to find his efforts behind it. One can be motivated by seeing others growing up..!!

What is the most difficult part of being a leader?

-> With leadership comes responsibility. Responsibility of a particular task. Difficult part is not to take the responsibility but to perform it along with a group of people with different ideas in all.

What is your greatest strength and weakness as a leader?

My greatest strength is my orientation.. My speech has the power to influence the person I am talking to, which I think is a good sign of a Leadership.

My weakness is that I can’t keep quite when I see something inappropriate happening in front of me. I tend to react very fast.

According to you, what is BMS / BAF / BBI / BFM / BMM / BBA all about?

-> I think they are the best courses offered by university as per the interest and competency of a student. These are self financed courses that I think are specialized in its fields of Commerce.

As a student, what changes would you like to bring in Indian education system?

-> Of course the grading system. Cause I believe that students must get all possible chances to change their final grade. Also I would see to it that students could get to know 40% of the news of what affairs are being planned by the system. In short 50% participation of students in management.

What would you advice someone planning to do BAF?

-> I would advise them to do great career in corporate world or else try and work hard to set up your own entity and build an empire.

Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? What is your message to the upcoming BAF students?

->. I haven’t faced any struggle yet but I learned that what am I doing is worth it and I am surely gonna achieve something good out of it. Cause I believe whatever you choose to do or choose to pursue your career in is your choice and first you should have faith in it. I would suggest the upcoming students to decide the field in which they have keen interest and which they think can be the best choice for their future.
