1) Tell us about yourself?
– My name is Pushkar Sankholkar. I have completed SSC from Saraswati Mandir High School, Mahim. For last 5 years I am studying in Chetana’s institute. My hobby is playing cricket.

2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
– It feels very nice to be the topper of my college. I was overwhelmed with joy.

3) Whom will you credit your success to?
– All my faculties, mentors & my parents

4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
– No

5) How did you study for Sem V?
– I paid attention to what my faculties taught & practiced the same regularly.

6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
– None of the subject was easy as such. I had to work hard to clear all the concepts.

7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
– Bullet points are always effective & give a clean look to your answer.

8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
– We did not have case studies in sem 5.

9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
– Diagrams are not mandatory. But we can explain our answers in a better way by placing it in a diagram or chart form.

10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
– I selected any subject randomly & studied the same continuously with full concentration.

11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
– I listen to music or watch any cricket match  to refresh myself & start studying again.

12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
– I would like to make the education system more practical & make the students updated with latest amendments & make Internship compulsory for 1st & 2nd year students so that they gain some practical knowledge.

13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
– I would suggest them to keep working hard to pursue their dreams & Believe in their abilities because self belief gives you the confidence to make impossible, possible.

  14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
– I have learned to be down to earth even after achieving success & this is a big learning for me.
