I joined BAF because it is more interesting and different from the rest.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
Yes, I am happy because I least expected it.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
The credit goes to all my professors in college and classes, my parents for supporting me and friends ofcourse.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
Not at all, I studied seriously a month before the exam.
5) How did you study for Sem V?
There were regular class tests and prelims which helped a lot. And if you attend the lectures attentively, you will be clear with the concept, that helps too.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
Cost Accounting, Management Accounting and even FA 6 is easy.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
For theory, write answers always in points. Write conclusion in the end. While for accounts, write working notes wherever necessary. And be neat and presentable.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
There is no case study as such in Sem 5.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
No, it is not mandatory. But you can draw flowcharts and tables to be more specific and clear.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
There was a specific timetable prepared by me. Since accounts is all about practice you can do it. But economics as a theory subject, study the important questions and 1 or 2 answers a day.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
Be calm and relaxed. Study little but study smartly. Take a break by switching on to subjects you like.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
If given a chance the first thing I would like to do is more practical knowledge should be imparted.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
Believe in yourself and do your best.
14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
Do not lose hope. Do your best.
