Tell us about yourself?

My name is Anson Almeida, from shri chinai college, completing my TY . My hobies are listening to music and playing cricket,football .  My family includes my mother and my elder brother.

How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams? 

I am feelingmyself  totally blessed being the topper of my college.Its great when your hard work is rewarded.

Whom will you credit your success to? 

I would like to credit my success to my parents,teachers and GOD.

Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V? 

I did not start preparing from the first day, just attending the lectures regularly in college and classes. Last one month and last 2 months i studied properly.

How did you study for Sem V? 

I was going to iyer classes which helped me alot secondly practising the sums regularly helped me.

Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?

According to me taxation,costing,economics are the most scoring subjects.

Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

I write answers in point form.

How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

We did not had case studies in sem 5 We are having case studies in pom this sem.

Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

Actually in sem 5 in baf we had only one theory thats economics I had not drawn any diagram in it.

Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

I would prepare time table and try to follow it . At a time i would take one topic not more than one subject per day.

How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

Distractions  were normal I used to off my mobile data during study time.

If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?

There is a lot of delay in declaring results, revaluations, getting marksheets etc so i would like to initiate such changes.

Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

We should not think that whether wew are from big or small college we all will get a standard degree from university so work hard and achieve your dreams.

Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? 

I have learned that hardwork always pays off just believe in God and study rest will authomatically happen.
