Tell us about yourself?

I am from commerce background and the only reason I joined this course is, I don’t want to work under others and I found this course best from all the self financing courses. This course is also very helpful for students doing Chartered Accountancy

How does it feel to be the Class Representative of the class?

I am CR from first year and it’s the best feeling to lead your class. Representing the class is damn difficult job especially when everyone doesn’t agree on a particular topic. On a serious note what motivated me was, I wanted to experience of being a leader. Being a CR we get to learn many things and a lot experience from on field works.

What do you mean by leadership? Tell us message out a time / describe a situation when you have proved you have better leadership skills.

According to me leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. There are many situations where I was proud to be a leader I would like to describe one, during our local Industrial Visit something was wrong with our bus and we were stuck for two hours on road. It was difficult to convince the whole class and explain them the situation but at that point of time I felt that I did very well and off course the crowd was very understanding. When you get results for your work you feel like you are on the top of the world.

What are the most important values you demonstrate as a leader?

As a leader we should have vision, courage, determination and confidence.

Does a leader need to be motivated? How can leaders maintain themselves to stay motivated?

Yes, leader needs to be motivated and the best motivation getting the results.

What is the most difficult part of being a leader?

The most difficult part is when you fail to prove yourself as a leader.

What is your greatest strength and weakness as a leader?

My strength is that I can figure out what works more easily and weakness is that I fight with people who resist change.

According to you, what is BAF all about?

Just a difference of management media and accounting fields but no one is sure that there future will be in those fields in which they are currently in.

As a student, what changes would you like to bring in Indian education system?

I would say that the education system should be more specific and students should specialize right from the school in whichever field they like. According to the increasing competition the portion should be tougher. The student should have more practical knowledge

What would you advice someone planning to do BMS / BAF / BBI / BFM / BMM / BBA?

I would say do whatever you like or in which your interest lies.

Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? What is your message to the upcoming BMS / BAF / BBI / BFM / BMM / BBA students?

I have learned that we should always do our best. Yes competition us very much important in life because if no one is ahead of you then you won’t try to be the best. My message is always be goal oriented.
