Tell us about yourself, your background, why did you join BAF and what do you plan to do after BAF?
Ans– My name is Nayan Patel student of Viva College from jr college. This is my last year in Viva College. I have selected BAF for my graduation because I have interest in Accounts and I don’t like Theory subject. AFTER Ty I will go for MCOM.
How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in Semester exams?
Ans– It feels great as my parents are very happy with my marks
Whom will you credit your success to? Ans– Credit goes to my Parents, Teachers and Friends for their support and guidance and to my college library.
Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY ? Ans -No
How did you study for Sem V (Share some tips / advice for each subject? Ans– It consist 5 practical subject so only practice is important and reference of past papers.. for 1 theory subject Economics read 2-3 questions every day.
Which are the easy subjects in Sem V? Ans-Taxation and Economics
Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
ans-Daily practices helps you in solving case studies
Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Ans-No
Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
Ans -Analyse yourself. Try to know Which subject is difficult for you and give more time to that subject.
How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
ans-Have trust in yourself. If you don’t have trust in yourself then you will find many reasons that u might be feeling that its distracting you. If u have full confidence in yourself no one can distract you from your exam preparation.
If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
Ans– I would like to change grading system and these 75:25 patterns. Earlier 60:40 pattern was good. And I will take back scale down.
Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
Ans. I am from Gujarati Medium and i am proud of it. In my class many of students are from Marathi, Gujarati And Hindi Medium and many of them has Scored more than 70%. So it’s nothing like that if u are from non ENGLISH medium than u can’t score good marks. Study with confident, have trust in yourself and u will great marks.
Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? What is your message to the upcoming BAF / BBI / BMS / BFM / BMM / BBA students?
ans– There is only one competitor in your life is only yourself. Compete with yourself. Try to increase your level. Give challenges to yourself every day. Don’t Compete with others, u will not achieve success by putting down others. Give your best. All the best..
