  • Tell us about yourself, your background, why did you join BAF and what do you plan to do after BAF?

ANS-Myself  Pranali Gupte and I am studying in FYBAF. I like accounts a lot. In future I want to join a nationalised bank and want to pursue CA further after BAF.

  • How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in Semester exams?

ANS-It feels great to me.

  • Whom will you credit your success to?

ANS- To my dedication.

  • Did you start preparing from the first day of your FY?

ANS- No

  • How did you study for Sem I ?

ANS-I planned and I made timetables according to strength of subjects and I studied.

  • Which are the easy subjects in Sem I ?

ANS- Business communication and Mathematics are the easy subjects for me in Sem 1.

  • Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

ANS-YES I wrote answers in bullet points rather than in paragraphs.

  • How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

ANS- Practice make it perfect.

  • Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

ANS- Yes I draw a table and diagram in answer paper because it will help me to get good marks as well as it makes a good impression of me on paper checker. So I prefer diagram and tables.

  • Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

ANS- Yes, I made a timetable for per subjects. It is very helpful for me.

  • How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

ANS-I follow one thing in my life that is ‘equal study and equal play’. It helps me to fight against mood swings and distraction.

  • If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?

ANS-I would like to give practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge.

  • Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

ANS-Never underestimate yourself and have a faith on yourself.

  • Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? What is your message to the upcoming students?

ANS- I learned, my trust on myself is very true. In future I have to give my best again and again. And for the competition of life don’t give up, in any situation of our life we have to move on.
