- Tell us about yourself?
I am Prathamesh R. Bhongale from FYBAF, studying in M.L.DAHANUKAR COLLEGE OF COMMERCE. My main aim is to be a Chartered Accountant. I found Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAF) more interesting than going for B.COM. As I found that the subjects of CA and BAF are very similar so at last I decided to go with BAF parallel to my CA.
- How does it feel to be the Class Representative of the class?
As this is my first year in the degree section I am going to complete 1 year as CR.
The motive behind becoming the CR is to explore to improve our skills from good to better to best, to learn many things and to make growth in ourself which is just like the water vapour which rises in the sky but its unseen.
- What do you mean by leadership? Tell us about a time / describe a situation when you have proved you have better leadership skills.
Leadership means how do you accept the challenges and with what mind set you face the challenges, leadership can be defined in many more ways. Leadership can be shown and grown in oneself.
We had only2 lectures once,due to some reason the 1st lecture was cancelled ,at that time the students were not happy as they had to wait for more than an hour for the second lecture to start, at that time I went to teacher who had our 2nd lecture, she was taking lecture in other class and asked her if she could combine our lecture due to which the students could leave early.
- What are the most important values you demonstrate as a leader?
Taking responsibilities itself is the first sign of Leadership, so taking responsibility is must, making right decisions at the right time, being confident, making the most out of the opportunities you get and many things.
- Does a leader need to be motivated? How can leaders maintain themselves to stay motivated?
Leader being motivated is one of the important factors, as an example you can take any team game like cricket, football in consideration. If the leader is motivated and gives his optimum then only he can expect for 100% results
- What is the most difficult part of being a leader?
The most difficult part for a leader is to accept difficult situations in an easy way.
- What is your greatest strength and weakness as a leader?
Communicating with the things well has been strength and not having more interaction with all the students is one of the weaknesses which I have found.
- According to you, what is BAF all about?
BAF is all about making accounts, finance and all the subjects in the curriculum our friend by knowing them well and getting the proper knowledge of it.
- As a student, what changes would you like to bring in Indian education system?
Our Indian education system is good but everything has some or the other back step ,
So changes take place.
- What would you advice someone planning to do BMS / BAF / BBI / BFM / BMM / BBA?
Students should take the stream which they like as per students interest and the thing which student feels comfortable with, at the end in every stream to get knowledge you need to study. But studying what you like brings a lot of interest.
- Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? What is your message to the upcoming BMS / BAF / BBI / BFM / BMM / BBA students?
After struggle and success experience speaks a lot, which tells study from the starting itself. Competition is one of the growing aspects so grow yourself more than competition’s growth.
