1) Tell us about yourself?
I am Reshma Malim, pursuing my graduation in BAF, currently in third year. I have joined BAF because of my interest in accounts.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
It really feels great and to be blessed!!
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
My success credit goes firstly to my parents and then to my college and classes teachers for their support and guidance.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
No not at all, I started studying 2 months before exam.
5) How did you study for Sem V?
In sem 5 we have 5 practical subjects and 1 theory. For practical subject I made sure that my concepts are very much clear and for theory subjects i didn’t mug up answers just understood what the answer is all about.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
I feel all practical subjects are easy but one has to be conceptually very clear.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
I used to start my answer with definition and continue my answer in bullet points as it gives much better presentation and always end answer with conclusion. Also I used to highlight important words and sentence.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
We don’t have case study in sem 5 in any of the subject.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
It is not mandatory to draw diagrams however in economics paper I used to draw diagram as it helps in better presentation of answer as well as helps in scoring good marks.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
No, i didn’t follow any specific time table neither my study hours were fixed. I used to do accounts regularly but for theory subject i had started studying 1 month prior to exam.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
I was affected by mood swings and to avoid that i used to listen to music that refreshes me to continue with my study.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
I will make it mandatory to conduct presentations for student so that it gives chance to students for enhancing their communication and presentation skills rather than focusing on only theoretical aspect.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
It does not matter from which college you are or from which medium you had studied. It all depends on what you think of yourself and how much confidence you have in yourself. That is all what makes you. If you work hard and treat yourself capable no one can stop you from achieving your target.
14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
I have learned that hard work is always appreciated. Just identify the opportunity and make best of it. One should always remember “when the time to perform arrives, the time to prepare has gone.”

This site is doing great work. It helps a lot to new comers in getting knowledge of all degree courses so that they can select the one which suits them the best.
